A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Johannesburg to Timbavati
An early departure from Johannesburg as we start our scenic drive through Mpumalanga and the breathtaking vistas of the
Lowveld. Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes will be some of today’s highlights.
Day 2 to 3, Kruger National Park
An early morning as we visit a wildlife rehabilitation centre before entering the world famous Kruger National Park. We spend the next 2 days game driving through the park taking in the bush sights and sounds as we search for the 'Big 5'.
Day 4 to 5, Kruger National Park to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Today we leave the Kruger National Park and cross the border into Swaziland where we will spend the next two nights. Experience the wonderful Swazi culture at one of the many markets or explore the Mlilwane Nature reserve on foot.
Day 6, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to Greater St. Lucia Wetlands National Park
Leaving Swaziland we re-enter South Africa and make our way down to the warm Indian Ocean coast. Our afternoon is spent exploring the Greater St Lucia Wetland park - which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Weather depending we could spend some time on a boat cruise on the lagoon.
Day 7, St Lucia Wetlands National Park to Durban
Leaving the town of St Lucia we make our way to the coastal city of Durban which is also known as a surfer's paradise!
