Masai Mara Budget Travel

The Masai Mara, also spelled Maasai Mara, is a large park reserve in south-western Kenya.

The park is effectively the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park game reserve in Tanzania, making Masai Mara budget travel ideal for tours between the two countries.

Masai Mara Budget Safaris

Masai Mara is named after the Masai tribes of this region, who are known for their beautiful jewellery and neck decoration.

Masai Mara budget safaris include a number of affordable accommodation options in the park, making it suitable for travelers on a tight budget.

The park is not the largest in Africa, but it is one of the most famous, and is especially known for its large lion population – which is currently consisting of about twenty large prides.

There is also a large population of Black rhino, as well as cheetah, giraffe, elephant, antelope and hundreds of bird species, including vultures, marabou stork, secretary bird, hornbill, crowned crane, ostrich, long-crested Eagle, and African pygmy-falcon.
