About Lake Nakuru National Park

•Do not swim in the water - hippos and crocodiles can sometimes be found, as well as bilharzia
•Lake Naivasha is generally very safe to visit, with no dangerous game
•The crime rate is very low, however it is best to keep valuables out of sight to prevent temptation
•Avoid travelling alone to and from the park, and in remote areas travel in convoy during daylight
