A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Johannesburg to Khama Rhino Sanctuary
An early start and a long way to go as we depart Johannesburg and head north into Botswana. Passing through Serowe, birthplace of Botswana's first president, on our way to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary - home of white rhino, zebra and wildebeest. Our first game drive takes us around the Malema and Serwe Pans.
Day 2, Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Central Kalahari
Travelling north into central Botswana we find the pristine and remote Central Kalahari Game Reserve. This reserve is characterized by salt pans, vast open plains and ancient river beds.
Day 3 to 4, Central Kalahari
Using 4WD vehicles we explore one of the largest game reserves in the world looking for grazing herds of Zebra, Wildebeest, Springbok and Oryx which might lead us to the famous Kalahari Lions.
Day 5, Central Kalahari to Maun
Our next stop is the town of Maun which forms the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Optional scenic flights over the Delta can be arranged from here.
Day 6, Okavango Delta
Today is a free day for you to spend at your leisure. The variety of optional activities range from game walks to swimming. Relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
Day 7, Okavango Delta
Early morning and late afternoon game walks give you time in the middle of the day to relax, chill out and enjoy your surroundings. Why don't you have a go at poling your own mokoro? It is not as easy as it looks!
Day 8, Okavango Delta to Nxai Pan (via Maun)
From the Delta we make our way to the fossil lake beds of the Nxai Pans which forms the beautifully unique Nxai National Park.
Day 9, Nxai Pan
The Nxai pans are surrounded with Baobab and Umbrella trees and covered with short nutritious grass that attracts the wildlife we are coming to see! We spend our time game driving through the Nxai Pan National Park and make a stop at the famous 'Baines Baobabs' which is always a highlight.
Day 10, Nxai Pan to Makgadikgadi Pans
We continue to enjoy the wide open spaces as we arrive at the flat Makgadikgadi Pans. Our evening is spent watching the sun set over the pans and counting endless stars.
Day 11, Makgadikgadi Pans to Chobe National Park
Travelling north we enter the Chobe National Park- famous for its herds of Elephant. We camp in the park and enjoy Africa at its best.
Day 12, Chobe National Park
With an early morning game drive we should spot some more game as they come out for a drink in the crisp, cool morning. After lunch we take a cruise on the Chobe River to spot some more of the world's largest mammals and some of the smallest bird species.
Day 13, Chobe National Park to Livingstone
We take the Kazangula Ferry and make our way across the Zambian border to Livingstone.
Day 14, Livingstone
With a day full of adventure, be sure not to miss the Bungee from Victoria Falls bridge, World class White Water rafting or abseil down Batoka Gorge. For the less adventurous there is horse back safaris, elephant back safaris, and the ever popular 'Flight of the Angels'.
Day 15, Livingstone
Our tour comes to an end in this adventure town. Explore the town on foot, visit local craft markets or give the adrenaline levels a rush with one of the many activities on offer.
