Getting around Jordan

Getting around Jordan is a fairly simple process, with buses taxis (private and service) and car hire on offer. The JETT bus company offers routes to most major towns and tourist areas, with cheap fares and well-run buses that are easy to find and take. Taxis are also on offer, with both private taxis and service taxis available. These range in price, with service taxis being shared and therefore cheaper than private taxis. Getting around by car in Jordan can be done with Jordan care hire or 4x4 hire, which is probably the best option as the roads are often in a fairly poor state in some parts.
