Jordan Plants

While the country has some extent of vegetation, Jordan plants are generally fairly limited as desert, mountain and coastal regions comprise much of the country in terms of land cover. With that said, there are vegetated regions across Jordan, with farmlands and wetland regions as well as nature reserves forming the most vegetated areas of the country.

Vegetation in Jordan

Vegetation in Jordon is fairly sparse, with the primary form of vegetation limited to small-scale agriculture, domestic gardens and limited wild vegetation in the surrounding areas. Popular ornamentals such as wild orchids, tulips and irises are grown as garden plants in the towns and cities of Jordan.
