Mount Nebo Airports

While there are no Mount Debo airports, Jordan itself has two major airports offering domestic and international flights, plus smaller domestic and military airports. Generally speaking, the primary airports are relatively well-run, with clean facilities and amenities. Flights from a host of international destinations mostly come through the primary airport in Amman, which is Queen Alia International Airport. Amman is approximately 55km from Mount Nebo.

Airports in Mount Nebo, or rather near Mount Nebo include Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Marka International Airport in East Amman and King Hussein International Airport in the suburb of Aqaba. Queen Alia International Airport is the largest and busiest of Jordan's airports, with three terminals consisting of two passenger terminals and one cargo terminal. The airport is named after Queen Alia, the third wife of King Hussein of Jordan, who was killed in a helicopter crash in 1977. Airlines that are serviced by these airports include Royal Jordanian Airlines, Royal Wings, Jordan Aviation and Arab Wings.
