Island Hopping/Beaches in Africa

With its wide range of beaches and array of tropical islands, Africa is a beach-lovers paradise. From Cape Town to Mozambique, Africa's beaches are not to be missed. Beaches range from the cold Atlantic Ocean beaches which are scattered along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard to the famous tropical island paradise of Zanzibar in Tanzania.

Indian Ocean Islands

Mozambique is one of the best places in the world for island hopping, with a number of small islands scattered around the main coastline which are easy to access by boat. The waters along the Mozambique coastline are warm and crystal clear, with a huge variety of tropical fish to be seen.

Madagascar is also an ideal country for island exploration, and has a number of small and largely untamed islands within easy access. Madagascar is also home to some of the most spectacular wildlife on the planet, with a wide range of exotic species to be seen.

Beaches in Cape Town

Some of the best beaches can be found in Cape Town, despite the chilly waters along the Atlantic coastline. Boulders Beach in Simons Town offers a unique experience of being able to swim with penguins. Jackass penguins have been colonising the area for centuries, and the beach is an office nature reserve.
