Gweru Elephant Ride
There is something to be said for riding an Elephant and the Gweru Elephant Ride is not as uncomfortable as it sounds.
Climb a specially constructed ‘loading platform’ (at perfect Elephant height of course) before climbing onto your padded saddle and sitting behind your friendly Guide.
From this vantage point you will notice things you haven’t seen from the ground and spotting game in the Reserve is a little easier.
If the weather suits why not end your ride with an Elephant Swim and to cool all of you down!

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!

The trip was great! A very relaxed ride in a mokoro, followed by camping in the Okavango Delta and watching the animals on the islands was awesome!
