Ghanzi Hunter-Gatherer Guided Walk

Participate in the traditional hunter-gatherer life by stalking wildlife, digging up roots and climbing trees for wild fruit.

Formally known as the Bushmen, the San people are nomadic people indigenous to Botswana (and Namibia) and have lived here for over 30 000 years.

The Ghanzi Hunter-Gatherer guided walk is truly a unique experience and you will get a deeper understanding of what Africa was like many years back ago.

Your guide will explain the medicinal and nutritional uses of various plants and insects which might give us some understanding as to how they survived all these year with no/little contact with the modern world.

The hunter-gatherer walk starts early in the morning to give us time to see and experience as much as possible in the fresh morning air.

Remember closed shoes and a sunhat!
