Hi Charlotte, Africa has 4 weather seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. However in these seasons - we have a dry season and a wet season. The wet season refers to the time of year when rains are expected to fall. The dry season is the opposite - not as much rain. This differs from country to country. You can check out our weather webpage for more information on seasons and weather patterns in the different countries of Africa that our overland trips travel through. Happy trails!

Hi there Ajay, the temperatures in Ghana varies very little between summer and winter because it is so close to the equator, but the rainy seasons occurs, from April to July and from September to November and they also have the "Harmattan", a dry desert wind that blows from the northeast from December to March, lowering the humidity and creating very hot days and cold nights.
