Kumasi Budget Safaris

Kumasi is the second largest city in Ghana, with a population of 1,517,000.

Kumasi budget safaris attractions include the large Kumasi Central Market, Tafo Kumasi, Fort Kumasi, Kumasi Hat Museum, the zoo, the Kumasi National Cultural Centre, Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, the Okomfo Anokye Sword, the Asantehene's Palace which was built in 1972, and the Manhiya Palace which dates from 1925.

Accommodation options vary, with a number of cheap hostels available, making it ideal for budget travel.

Kumasi is also home to a good soccer team, the Kumasi Asante Kotoko, who have won a number of international and national games and can be seen playing at the local stadium when they are not playing overseas.
