Build Your Trip to Africa
Cheap Flights to Africa

At OverlandingAfrica.com we suggest choosing the right flights in conjunction with the right trips. We are experts in arranging bargain airfares to Africa. It sometimes works out cheaper to get a return flight than an open jaw flight. It also works out cheaper for OverlandingAfrica.com to book a flight internally than it is to book outside of the country. It is advisable to confirm your flight booking 72 hours before leaving the country.
Discounted Flights to Africa
OverlandingAfrica.com travel experts will give you all of the advice that you need to book your cheap tickets. They have discounted rates and bargain air fares that ensure your overlanding trip remains affordable. If you are looking for advice about where to fly to in each country then read through the specific country or destination pages on our site which will point you in the right direction.
Booking Flights with your Tour
We recommend that you allow 1- 3 days after the scheduled completion date of your tour before flying out. OverlandingAfrica.com are only a phone call away and will be happy to assist with any questions about flying, staying longer in a country and confirming flights.

Hi Jared, we can assist in finding a flight for you however we do reccommend that you book these yourself as it will work out cheaper. During your trip you will be staying at designated camp sites that do have electrical points for you to charge your batteries, you just need to make sure you have the right plug connection for the countries you will be visiting. I have emailed you more information regarding flights and the trip. Cheers!

Hi, I'm interested in the Southern Trek taking place June 13-July 14, and was wondering if you could send me a quote for 1 person flying from SeaTac airport in Washington, USA. I'm interested in knowing how to find the cheapest flights as this trek starts and ends in different locations. Additionally, I will be bringing a digital camera...will there be any opportunities for recharging a laptop and camera batteries on this trip? Thank you for your help!

Hi there! I'm hoping to do the 10 day trip from Nairobi to Dar Es Salaam on the 24 Apr. Because of work, I'm a bit restricted with my flights and have found an Emirates flight on the 21 Apr London to Nairobi and returning from Dar Es Salaam to London on the 3 May for GBP 662.29. I'm suspecting you have better powers at finding cheap flights and am hoping you might be able to help me out? Thanks very much! Laura

Hi Sally, Depending on which tour you join will depend on the number clients on your tour. We have small group tours that can accommodate up to 16 passengers or other tours that can take up to 27 passengers. If you partake in longer tours that's 3 weeks or longer you would have the opportunity to do your laundry once a week on average.Cheers
- Sally06 Jan 2011
-
Do we know ahead how many are on our tour? If tour is 3 wks, are there laundry accomodations? Are the camp sites guarded at night? Or isn't it necessary?

Hi Kirstan, Hard to tell as we don't know who you have looked at already. A web site like Expedia or Travelstart might help otherwise drop us a email with your budget and we can see what we can find. Cheers,

I have found flights to book for my overland trip in January. The dates I am looking at are Jan 5- April 17. I found multi city flights Salt Lake City (SLC) to Nairobi and Johannesburg to SLC for those dates for $1586 USD. Would your company be able to find a better deal for me for those locations and dates?

Hi Hayley, Check out our About Overlanding section - there is a page there called 'What You'll East' which might give you some idea. Each trip is slightly different so it really depends what you mean by fussy. :) Happy trails!

On the planned camping trips, what kind of food is on offer? My friends wants to come but is extremely fussy with food and thinks she would find it difficult. Any info would help. Many Thanks

Hi, i'm currently thinking about a trip for late 2011. Type of accomadation doesn't bother me, I would prefer a forward-facing seat in a truck and would like to see Victoria Falls. As i'm a student I have a fairly limited budget. I would like to do/see as much as possible, preferably not exceeding 1500 GBP, if that is feasable. Any tour suggestions and information would be appreciated. Thankyou
