Dahab Budget Travel

Dahab is a city in Egypt, situated about 85 km north of Sharm el-Sheikh on the Gulf of Aqaba, near the southern tip of Sinai.

Dahab was once an isolated coastal village which became something of a hippie hangout in the 1980's. During the 1990's the town developed into the Dahab budget travel hotspot it is today, with cheap accommodation, a laid back lifestyle and informal tourism initiatives.

Dahab Budget Safaris

Due to its nature of being an affordable travel haven, Dahab budget safaris rank as one of the top experiences in Egypt.

Cheap accommodation options, often right on the beach, and good, cheap food and drink bring visitors back time and time again.

Attractions include the famous Red Sea, snorkelling, scuba diving, beach bars, Mount Sinai day trips, the lagoona beach area, Three Pools Bedouin oasis and activities including climbing and yoga.

The main activity in Dahab however, is pure relaxation. Shops and services are very slow, and the pace of living is extremely laid-back and relaxed. Visitors come here to unwind and do as little as possible, so be prepared to relax!
