A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.


Durban to Cape Town

Day 1, Durban to Drakensberg

From Durban we head inland to the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. the Drakensberg has always been favourite among hikers and nature lovers with various viewpoints and hiking trails.

Day 2, Drakensberg

A free day in this magnificent mountain region allows time to relax, take a day trip to Lesotho, mountain bike, Heritage site hike, rock climb or horse ride.

Durban to Cape Town

Day 3, Drakensberg to Malealea via (Golden Gate Highlands National Park)

En route to Lesotho we travel through the Golden Gate Highlands area with its majestic towering sandstone cliffs and make several stops at quaint villages and towns on the way. Crossing the border we are welcomed by the 'Moutnian Kingdom' of Swaziland. 

Day 4, Malealea

We spend the day in this landlocked country exploring the lifestyle of the Basotho and their ponies. We might go on a short pony trek in the mountains or a guided walk with one of the Basotho men telling us all about their culture and way of life.

Durban to Cape Town

Day 5 to 7, Malealea to Addo Elephant National Park

Leaving Lesotho behind us we head for the coast of South Africa. Take time to relax, try a gentle hike in the surrounding area or try out some optional activities.

We then travel inland again to Addo Elephant National Park - home to one of the densest concentrations of African elephants on the continent and a park which boasts the 'Big 7'!

Day 8, Addo Elephant National Park to Tsitsikamma National Park

We make our way down the Indian Ocean coast to the indigenous forests of Tsitsikamma. This famous area along the Garden route rewards visitors with spectacular scenery and bird watching.

Durban to Cape Town

Day 9, Tsitsikamma National Park

Our day is at leisure to explore all the optional activities on offer in this adventure village. From Tree top Canopy tours, Blackwater Tubing and Forest tours to the World's highest Bungee jump!   

Day 10, Tsitsikamma National Park to Knysna via (Plettenberg Bay)

After breakfast we drive through Plettenberg Bay and into Knysna. This quaint little town in the heart of the Garden Route has plenty to offer. You might want to spend your time on an optional Lagoon or River Cruise.

Durban to Cape Town

Day 11, Knysna to Oudtshoorn

We take the scenic Outeniqua Pass into the Karoo and head to Oudtshoorn, famous for it's many Ostrich farms.

Day 12, Oudtshoorn to Stellenbosch

Leaving the ostrich capital behind us we drive a beautiful scenic route to Stellenbosch - one of the oldest and best preserved settlements in South Africa. Known today as the heart of the Cape Winelands, you might want to try out some of the delicious local wines and cheeses.

Durban to Cape Town

Day 13, Stellenbosch to Cape Town

Today we arrive in the 'Mother City' of Cape Town. So much to see and do with stunning scenery and numerous landmarks to keep you busy. Start with a trip up Table Mountain for awesome views of this beautiful city.
