Guided Trek to the Dogon

One of the most fascinating areas of Africa, the Dogon was one of the few tribes who resisted the spread of Islam when its missionaries and forces swept across North and West Africa a thousand years ago.

Today they still maintain most of their traditional religious beliefs.

The Guided Trek to the Dogon consists of a 3 day trek along the remote Bandiagara Escarpment which is situated along a 200km cliff face.

Spend the evenings stargazing from the rooftops of local villages as your meal is prepared by the local inhabitants.

A chance to meet a fascinating new culture – Dogon style.

Why do the Guided Trek to the Dogon?

Traditional and ancient culture 3 day trek Interact and live with the Dogon
