Cultural Villages in South Africa
There are a number of cultural villages across the continent, including the Shangaan village near the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. This village has a traditional African market, guided tours and an evening festival in the chief’s kraal.
Cultural Villages in Africa
Another great cultural village to visit in Africa is the Adanwomasi village in Ghana, where one can see traditional dancers, see a demonstration of the hand woven fabric known as Kente, and enjoy local dishes and palm wine.
Kawaza Village in Zambia has a community development program where all proceeds from visits to the village go towards community projects. Visitors are able to stay overnight in this stunning village, and they can enjoy local music, local cuisine and dancing.
The real beauty of visiting a cultural village is the memories that linger long after the holiday ends. In most villages photographs may be taken however, which prolongs the memories even longer.

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!

The trip was great! A very relaxed ride in a mokoro, followed by camping in the Okavango Delta and watching the animals on the islands was awesome!
