Chobe Sunset Boat Cruise
Usually departing in the mid afternoon the Chobe Sunset Boat Cruise is a stunning way to see the best of the Chobe River and its inhabitants.
Huge masses of lumpy Hippos show you their pink mouths and big teeth while massive herds of Elephant lumber along and remind you just how small you are.
Prolific bird life is a nice change from larger beasts and with a bit of luck you will spot the tiny Bee Eater endemic to the Chobe region.
A sun-downer drink or 2 and some snacks make for a stunning end to the day. Make sure those cameras have plenty of battery power and memory space.

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!

The trip was great! A very relaxed ride in a mokoro, followed by camping in the Okavango Delta and watching the animals on the islands was awesome!
