Hi Wimpie; costs could vary but you can be looking at anything from ZAR 3500 to ZAR 4000 per day for the truck; equipment and driver hire. All trucks will come with a driver as it is not possible to self drive these vehicles. I have emailed you more information. Happy trails!

Hi Genna! That sounds great. You have the right idea by spending 2 nights at each camp. As you can only drive at a certain speed within the park; driving from Namutoni to Anderson Gate in 1-day is not realistic especially if you will be game viewing inbetween. I reccomend to game drive in the area between Okaukuejo and Halali for your first 2-days. When camping in Halali; I would suggest to game drive in the areas around Halali. When camping in Namutoni; you can spend your time game viewing to the North and the surrounding areas. When exiting the park from Namutoni; I reccomend to use Von Lindenquist Gate. Happy travels!

We would like to spend six nights in Etosha; ideally two nights in each camp. Travelling from Windhoek; do you have an idea of the distances in km's and time between camps? I thought it would be easier to do the first two nights in Okoakoejo; then two nights in Halali and then the last two nights in Namutoni. Is it possible to drive through from Namutomi to Anderson Gate in one day? Or is this completely impractical? Any suggestions? Many Thanks!

I am arranging a trip to Namibia for a group of 9 students. They will be doing a rafting trip on the Orange River over the Easter week-end and will be able to catch an Interliner bus from the Noordoewer Namibian border post on the evening of the 24th (Sunday) April to get to Windhoek on the morning of the 25th and would leave again on the 30th (Saturday) late afternoon for Cape Town. Could you please let us know if you have an excursion available for them that could include Sossusvlei and Etosha pan? The budget is limited; so camping would be the best. If doing both destinations would be too expensive; then a trip to Etosha would be the choice. Please let me know what the possibilities are. Their bus ticket has to be paid for by Monday; so they need to make a decision within the next day.
