Clothing should be kept simple, with loose, long-sleeved clothing in lightweight fabrics. As Cameroon is mostly a Muslim country women may not show knees or shoulders, so avoid tank tops or revealing clothing. Basic clothing in neutral colours for game activities is also advised. A warm jacket and rain-jacket are also a good idea.
Sunglasses, sunhat and sunscreen are essential in all seasons, and other essential items include binoculars for bird watching and camera. Cameras will need permission to be brought into the country, so speak to your embassy before leaving for your travels.
