Cairo Antiquities Museum

The Egyptian Museum (as it is commonly called) houses over 120,000 fantastic artifacts from ancient Pharonic times and is a compulsory visit to make on any trip to Cairo or Egypt.

The final resting place of many well know (and some not) Pharaohs which can be seen in the Mummy Room, the Museum also houses over 3500 artifacts of the boy king, King Tutankhamun including his well known solid gold mask.

As many of the artifacts are not labeled a guided tour is a must and 1 visit may not be enough.

After completing further travels around Egypt’s many historic sites you will find that much of the overwhelming volume of history falls into place after a visit to the Museum.

Why do the Cairo Antiquities Museum?

120,000 artifacts
Ancient Pharaohs and Mummys
Tutankhamun's Gold Mask
Don't miss this!
