Bungee Jumping in Africa
Bungee jumping is the ultimate adrenaline rush, not an adventure sport experience for the faint hearted. Africa is home to the 2 highest jumps in the world.
Africa is home to the world's two highest locations, and both are in Southern Africa. The ultimate bungee jump is off the Bloukrans River Bridge, which at 216m is the highest commercial bungee jump in the world. Bloukranas Bridge is on the Garden Route near Plettenberg Bay in the Cape Province of South Africa.
Victoria Falls Bungee
The second highest location for bungee jumping in Africa is off the bridge crossing over the Zambezi River at Victoria Falls. The jump is only 100 metres and jumpers have to be winched back up to the bridge again.
Another variation of bungee jumping gaining popularity across Africa is bridge swinging. This works much the same way, except jumpers swing from one bridge to another. Special harnesses are fitted around jumpers waists, with one end of the cord attached to the harness, and the other end attached to the second bridge.

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!

The trip was great! A very relaxed ride in a mokoro, followed by camping in the Okavango Delta and watching the animals on the islands was awesome!
