Visas for Botswana are relatively easy to arrange, and are generally only required for certain counties and valid for either 30 or 90 days depending on travel requirements.
Visas are required for all countries excluding all Commonwealth countries, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Rep. of Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Samoa (Western), San Marino, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay and USA.
Visas are arranged before travelling to Botswana, and usually take about 1 or 3 working days to be processed.
Visa requirements include a valid passport, ID or green card, return tickets and proof of enough funds for your stay in Botswana.
General single or multiple entry visas cost about £60 or the equivalent. Please note that if you enter South Africa as a stopover on your flight you will need two clear pages on your passport to pass customs.
