Nxai Pan Budget Travel

Nxai Pan is situated in Botswana, next to the Makgadikgadi Pans area in northeastern Botswana, spanning some 2,578 km².

Famous for its large Springbok population, as well its rich abundance of birdlife, game and plant life in the rainy season, Nxai Pan budget travel offers a rich Garden of Eden in Botswana's beautiful Okavango area.

Nxai Pan Budget Safaris

Nxai Pan budget safaris are a highly recommended addition to Makgadikgadi Pans tours, with a large number of game ranging from the ever-present Springbok to large herds of Giraffe, lion, hyena and many other species.

In the rainy season, the park is a haven for wildlife migrating from the south, with large numbers of elephant and buffalo to be seen – as well as an increase in predators which are drawn to the area in search of prey. The vegetation also blooms in the rainy season, making the entire Nxai Pan area green and lush – attracting large numbers of beautiful bird species in addition to the wildlife influx.
