Gweta Budget Travel

Situated halfway between Maun and Nata in Botswana, Gweta budget travel is a great option for backpackers wanting to rest on route to Makgadikgadi Pans Park.

Gweta is a very small, slightly run-down village which is ideal for refuelling supplies and conveniently situated near to the main game parks in the area.

Gweta Budget Safaris

Gweta budget safaris highlights include a very simple, basic town lifestyle with cheap supplies and basic lodgings in the form of the local rest camp. This makes it ideal for budget travel and is a popular stopover during Botswana overland tours.

The town has a few food stores, a restaurant, a vehicle repair shop and fuel stops which nearly always have fuel available.

There is not much to do in the town itself, but just a short drive away are the Makgadikgadi Pans with its stunning game park and the Nxai Pans, which also has some great game viewing opportunities.

The stark beauty of the area makes it ideal for photographic opportunities, and the scenery is sure to impress all visitors to this wild and remote area.
