Day 1, Johannesburg to Khama Rhino Sanctuary

An early start and a long way to go as we depart Johannesburg and head north into Botswana. Passing through Serowe, birthplace of Botswana's first president, on our way to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary - home of white rhino, zebra and wildebeest. Our first game drive takes us around the Malema and Serwe Pans.

Day 2, Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Maun

Maun is our destination today as we prepare for the Okavango Delta excursion. After pitching our tents we have a relaxing afternoon at the swimming pool.

/images/flickr/Photo_of_Maun_Botswana_/2807996663_s.jpg

Day 3, Maun to Okavango Delta

You have the opportunity to take a 3 day / 2 night excursion into the Delta. You travel in local transport and then in mokoros, the local dug out canoes, which are poled by local guides through the winding waterways. These local canoes are a perfect way to navigate this waterway wonder - the biggest inland Delta in the world. Your guides will select a place out in the bush to set up camp. An afternoon game walk will allow you to experience the Delta wilderness in all its glory.

Day 4, Okavango Delta

Today is a free day for you to spend at your leisure. The variety of optional activities range from game walks to swimming. Relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings.

/images/flickr/Photo_of_Okavango_DeltaBotswana_/3348423443_s.jpg

Day 5, Okavango Delta

Early morning and late afternoon game walks give you time in the middle of the day to relax, chill out and enjoy your surroundings. Why don't you have a go at poling your own mokoro? It is not as easy as it looks!

Day 6 to 7, Maun to Moremi Wildlife Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve rates as one of the leading wildlife areas of the world and we have a couple of nights to experience all it has to offer. Truely unforgettable!

/images/flickr/Photo_of_Moremi_Wildlife_Reserve_Botswana_/2824147855_s.jpg

Day 8, Moremi Wildlife Reserve to Maun

After another rewarding game drive we return to Maun in the early afternoon.

Day 9, Maun to Makgadikgadi Pans

We have time for an optional flight over the Delta before heading to the towards the town of Nata and the nearby Makgadikgadi Pans. Here we have the opportunity to watch beautiful sunsets over the shimmering endless salt pans.

/images/flickr/Photo_of_Makgadikgadi_pans_Botswana_/2807980251_s.jpg

Day 10, Makgadikgadi Pans to Chobe National Park

Travelling north we enter the Chobe National Park- famous for its herds of Elephant. We camp in the park and enjoy Africa at its best.

Day 11, Chobe National Park

With an early morning game drive we should spot some more game as they come out for a drink in the crisp, cool morning. After lunch we take a cruise on the Chobe River to spot some more of the world's largest mammals and some of the smallest bird species.

/images/flickr/Photo_of_Chobe_National_Park_Botswana_/2808673198_s.jpg

Day 12, Chobe National Park to Livingstone

We take the Kazangula Ferry and make our way across the Zambian border to Livingstone.

Day 13, Livingstone

With a day full of adventure, be sure not to miss the Bungee from Victoria Falls bridge, World class White Water rafting or abseil down Batoka Gorge. For the less adventurous there is horse back safaris, elephant back safaris, and the ever popular 'Flight of the Angels'.
