There are many ways in which you can find the perfect overland tour that will suit your length of holiday, budget and interests. Booking overland tours in Africa is made easy with OverlandingAfrica.com as we provide a variety of different ways of searching for that perfect overland adventure!

• If you are choosing a tour with a tight budget in mind, then please visit our special overland deals page to see which tours have discounted rates.
• If budget is not an issue and you are bound by the dates that you have to travel on, then please search tours by departure date and we will provide you with a range of tours that depart on the specific date(s) you have requested.
• If you know that you want to do an overland tour for lets say, 4 weeks, but you don’t know what date or which countries you would like to visit, then view our tours by length page.
• If there are certain countries in Africa that are a "must see" then view our tours by country page and you will see all the departures that visit the countries of your choice.
• If you know how long you would like to travel for and which countries you would like to visit, then go directly to our advanced search where you are able to list all of your specific overlanding requirements.

Booking Overlanding Tours in Africa

Once you have found an overland tour that suits your budget and your interests, then click on the tour to find out more detailed information that includes cost right through to the type of truck you will be travelling in! Consultants will get back to you within 48 hours after you have made an enquiry and will then forward you the booking forms.

To secure your seat we require a 30% non-refundable deposit which can be paid either via international bank transfer or with your credit card. The balance of the trip is due 60 days before your departure. If you are traveling within 60 days of departure, then we need full payment from you. Payment details are on the invoice which your overland consultant will forward to you. Once you have booked and payment has been received, you will be sent a confirmation voucher that needs to be presented to your overland crew. Please note that travel insurance is compulsory on most overland tours and we are able to assist you in organizing your insurance.

We offer a wide variety of overlanding tours in Africa but we have not listed all of them on this website as we do not want to "overload" our visitors with too much information! If you cannot find a suitable departure date for any of the tours you are interested in, or have an alternative route you would like to do, then please contact us and we will make a plan.
