Bahir Dar Fishing

Bahir Dar rests on the banks of Lake Tana in Ethiopia and is reputed to be the fastest growing town in Ethiopia.

Lake Tana is the biggest lake in Ethiopia and here at the source of the Blue Nile you can experience Bahir Dar Fishing the traditional way.

Take a papyrus tankwa boat out on to the Lake for an afternoon of quiet fishing before comparing your catch with that of the fishermen at the local fish market.

Why do the Bahir Dar Fishing?
