Arba Minch Hot Springs
The town of Arba Minch in southern Ethiopia received its name from the abundant local geothermal springs.
The Arba Minch hot spring system is not only the main source of domestic water for Arba Minch, but also serves as ecological maintenance of the forest that stretches to where the spring discharges.
The area around the springs is covered in dense forest which makes for the perfect opportunity to explore the area on foot and look out for resident Vervet and Guereza monkeys as well as Baboons, Dik-dik and Bushbuck as well as excellent birdlife.
