What to Pack for your Angola Safari?

What to pack for your Angola safari should cover everything you need for a safe and fun African travel adventure.

Basic clothing to pack for your safari in Angola including loose, lightweight clothing for hot days – with long pants and sleeves at night to ward off mosquitoes. Shorts, t-shirts and sandals can usually be worn around coastal areas, and flip flops are recommended for beaches. Hiking or walking shoes are essential, and a sunhat and sunglasses are highly imperative.

It is also a good idea to pack a small first aid box, with basics such as bandages, antiseptic cream, mild painkillers, nausea medicine and other supplies, as well as a good multi-vitamin.

Cameras and spare film or memory are essential, plus extra batteries. Cell phone chargers are also a good idea, and adapters for UK and US plugs are also recommended.

It is also a very good idea to bring certified copies of your ID and passport, as well as comprehensive travel insurance. Many border officials demand original passports, so having a certified copy is a good idea to simplify things and avoid problems.
